WBPF Hungary is proud to host the 7th WBPF European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships in the City of Budapest, Hungary. The organizing committee of the 7th inaugural WBPF European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2016 wishes to extend a warm welcome to all European member countries of the WBPF (World Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation). Dear Delegates, Athletes and Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Enthusiasts, we wish to extent our great pleasure and warm welcome to our guests of the 7th European Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championships 2016 in the city of Budapest. This outstanding
international event is being organized for the first time in this city and we are proud that we have been given the honour to host these championships. We are honoured that the EBPF has given the confidence and trust to WBPF Hungary, as a host of these continental championships of Europe in our country. We assure you that during your visit, we will do our utmost best to make your stay comfortable, memorable and entertaining and make these championships a great success. Brief History of Budapest
Budapest is the capital and the largest city of Hungary and the largest in East-Central Europe. Cited as one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, its extensive World Heritage Site includes the banks of the Danube, the Buda Castle Quarter, Heroes’ Square and the Millennium Underground Railway, the second oldest in the world. Other highlights include a total of 80 geothermal springs, the world’s largest thermal water cave system, and third largest Parliament building.
Venue Site - Mom Sport
This complex, which takes place on 70.000 m2 and has a 5-star trade mark, can uniquely serve the most different wants. High standard, modern and can excellently satisfy the highest expectations as well. The sport-and event hall is suitable for sport events, conferences, press conferences, exhibitions, proms, company parties, company gala dinners, concerts and fashion shows as well. It has several serving-rooms: 2 pieces of locker-rooms of 60 heads, 1 peace of a smaller dressing room (4 heads), catering room and a VIP room. It has a swimming pool with 3 pools: a competition pool and an instructors pool inside, and an outdoor pool which operates as a beach pool during summer (during winter time it is covered with a heated tent). The wellness area gives the opportunity for recreation with its 16-person fun pool (Jacuzzi), 2 Finnish saunas and a steam cabin. The 40 x 20m football-field covered with artificial grass, supplied with planks and ruling is open in every seasons. The 140m 2 conference room is air-conditioned, one wall is covered with mirror, and has an inbuilt sound and projection system. This room is not only suitable for dance classes but a great place for small conferences, press conferences and standing receptions. One of the unique services of the complex is the 2500 m , tended, grass covered, fenced MOM Sport Garden, which offers an attractive beach area during summer, and beside this a great place for garden parties, company family days, gastro events and open-air concerts. MOM Sport Garden is a place for the popular fields of community-and sport life, which can be used for free of charge in every season. These fields are the playground for children and the Street Gym. During global football events the Garden is one of the most liked outdoor fan clubs in Budapest.
